Technologies

Side Cortex: This evolution of the Cortex System involves a soft, translucent Cortex Dampening System located on the sides of the yoke, and an innovative shape that dampens vibrations, delivering the best compromise between comfort and feel at the ball impact.

Xtra Sweetspot: Strategically positioned Pebax plastic on opposite sides of the frame provide a significantly larger sweet spot, delivering greater tolerance, increased trampoline effect for greater power, and longer, more comfortable contact between ball and strings. Perfect for intermediate, recreational, and young players, for whom the increased tolerance can mean longer rallies and more fun.

Woofer: Provides 25% more contact time between the ball and strings. Eliminates string lock-up and increases sweet spot size - improving forgiveness during off-center shots and absorbing shock. Delivers extra power and more control, with a comfortable feel.

I demo'ed a dozen racquets and settled on the Babolat

I demo'ed a dozen racquets and settled on the Babolat line. I tried two versions of this racquet; the 2012 Pure Drive and Lite. I had previously used light racquets enjoying their greater racquet head speed and maneuverability for spin on groundstrokes, kick on serves and speed on reflex volleys. The Lite felt great (but might not provide enough power for people with slower swing speeds. They should try the 107 inch model.) I've used it daily for a few weeks. It's a fine racquet with extraordinary feel, control, forgiveness and power. Love it.

I play a lot of competitive tennis and I love this

I play a lot of competitive tennis and I love this racquet. It is light weight with a great frame, I get plenty of spin and control. It has the right head size and the right grip. Easy to use and affordable, as far as racquets goes.

I knew I found my racquet on the very first outing

I knew I found my racquet on the very first outing with the Drive Z Lite. It has a wonderful feel, which makes it seem like an extension of my arm. It helps with my control and believe it or not I can hit a better placed back hand with lots of power. That is something I couldnt do with the previous racquets owned. A great racquet that has elevated my game to new heights. I would recommend this racquet to anyone looking for more feel and better placed shots.

This is my second Babolat racquet previous was Drive

This is my second Babolat racquet previous was Drive 105 and I went with the Drive Z Lite due to the smaller headsize 100 and the additional head weight no elbow/arm issues to worry about currently. I do notice a change in my swing due to the extra head weight - I need an extra second or so, but its a solid racquet overall. Its strung in a hybrid style and Im really enjoying the game play I get with it.

I had the previous babolat drive z lite and it was

I had the previous babolat drive z lite and it was great but, this one feels even better! It feels solid and stable while still being light-weight and easy to maneuver. I get great control with it and spin is easy to produce. The new side cortex system makes the racquet feel even smoother then before, Im really happy with my purchase over all!

Played with a Wilson Hammer for years too long. Still

Played with a Wilson Hammer for years too long. Still adjusting to the lightness and maneuverability of the New Drive Z Lite. Like some aspects but have to generate a lot more power with this racquet. Find that I can last longer and move the racket quicker for reflex shots but still working on getting good pace with depth. Can get the depth but not with the pace I could with the Hammer. Only had it for 6 weeks and am feeling more confident each time I play.

The racket is wonderful. It is light, but also gives me the same amount of power as my last racket. Friends have also noticed that my game is better: my serves are stronger and my forehand is more reliable. Im very happy with my purchase.
