Technologies

O3: O3 Technology Uses O-Ports to provide total string freedom. Increases sweet spot size by 54% without increasing the size or length of the racquet or changing the weight or string tension. Also generates a livelier response across the entire string bed, and dramatically improves play at all levels. O-Ports reduce drag, producing faster swing speeds and increases power from anywhere on the court.

TUNGSTEN TRIPLE THREAT: Tungsten is a strong, dense metal, used here to fortify the Triple Braid system, improving stability for more power and precision. Triple Braid is a weighting system that promotes balance and stability: woven titanium, copper, and carbon are placed in three critical racquet locations: 10 o’clock, 2 o’clock, and at the bottom of the handle. Benefits include an expanded sweet spot with less shock to the arm.

I've tried the frame this week, awesome! I'll be looking for new prince model matching these parameters.

Recommended frame, vamos !

I bought this racquet as "Plan B." My primary frame is Prince EXO3 Graphite 100, which is stable but can be demanding for long matches. This one, however, is very maneuverable. Because of its head-light and flexibility, you are encouraged to take a full swing at the ball. The topspin shots feel completely natural. And it is a double edged sword for service return: it is great because you can generate so much racquet speed that more often than not you get to take a full swing at the fast incoming ball. However, if you are forced to block some serves, your returns will certainly fall short. Overall, it is a very good racquet. I recommend this to players who hit a lot of the balls on the run.

This is an awesome racquet... especially with the price

This is an awesome racquet... especially with the price so low. It's got practically the perfect blend of power, control, and feel. Even if it seems too light for you, you should definitely try it out and add some weight later on if you'd want. Every part of the game is very solid off of this stick.

The Prince O3 Hybrid Hornet is the best racquet I have

The Prince O3 Hybrid Hornet is the best racquet I have ever had. Before this racquet I used the Babolat Aero Drive and the Head Instinct. Nothing compared to this racquet. I kept hitting with tremendous spin and power. The O3 technology mixed with the traditional grommet gives it an outstanding feel. It is not that stiff but stiff enough to not give it that mushy feeling. On my serves I could hit both flat, slice, and topspin. This is already my new racquet after two days of demo. It a great racquet all around.

This racquet was a keystone to making my game better.

This racquet was a keystone to making my game better. For beginners to intermediates, it provides just enough power to be competitive, but not enough to kill the ball out. I believe this racquet should come with a warning however. With the right mechanics on strokes, it will improve your game very quickly. A must for first year high school players!

This stick gave me crazy improved maneuverability out

This stick gave me crazy improved maneuverability out the shoot. Being lighter than the stick I used prior I am very satisfied. It has improved my overall confidence and ergo my game. I do have to swing faster to get pace and punch. Backhand volleying is trickier because the head size is smaller than my prior stick. However, if I am in top physical condition and in good form and doing my job. The Hybrid 03 Hornet Midplus performs. As my game continues to improve I am seeing that the racquet does have limitations, consequently I intend to experiment with different strings, tensions and possibly lead tape. Nothing beats the Prince price performance ratio. It'll be a sad day if and when it is out of production. True believers stock up!

This racquet will provide blend of comfort and power

This racquet will provide blend of comfort and power that tour series racquets don't provide. Perfect if you like to hit it flat for the winners. Not exactly the best racquet to generate heavy spin. For players who just transitioned from a more demanding racquet to this one, you may want to consider adding lead tape on 3/6/9 o'clock position.

I love this racquet! First I played with a Head Junior

I love this racquet! First I played with a Head Junior Radical, then I switched to this one, and I love it! It has a great feel and not much vibration, but I recommend adding a dampener. This racquet is the best one I have has so far.

After demoing so many racquets I've reached a conclusion

After demoing so many racquets I've reached a conclusion that these racquets should be illegal! It was love at first sight. I've never played so good, ever! It's a shame though that Prince discontinued this model. The new EXO racquets feel dead. It's a breeze to hit serves and groundstrokes with. I'm probably adding some lead weight on it though, but other than that it's perfect! The aesthetics by the way is awful, but who cares, right?
